The best time to visit Prashar Lake is in summers from March-April. If you want to enjoy snow session  you can go there in between January-February month. However, it is not a good option to visit the place in monsoon as road to the lake may become risky. The view is always beautiful in winters as well as summer too. Travelling on NH21 you will reach in village "Bajaura" district Kullu from here you can start your journey to "Prashar lake". The distance from "Bajaura" to "Prashar lake" is 50 km and other route turns from "Mandi" (IIT kamand ) route. The trail begins at "Baagi village" passes through the jungles and hilly top accompanied by the Dholadhar range. Even Kinnaur and pandal peaks are visible through this trek route. You can reach "Prashar lake" by bus, taxi, car and bikes etc.
