Step 1. First of all, search for the Phone app on your Android smartphone and open it. After this the list of call history will open.

Step 2. Tap on Recent in the bottom left corner.

Step 3. If you want to delete a single call detail, all you have to do is find the button with a small 'i' inside a circle on the right side of the bar that appears next to the contact's name or unsaved number. To tap on it.

Step 4. Tap on the vertical three-dot icon on the top right of the newly opened window.

Step 5. Now you have to select 'Delete all calls of this number'.

How to delete entire Call history in Android Smartphone

Step 1. If you want to delete the entire call log from your smartphone, then tap on 'Recent' at the bottom left corner.

Step 2. Now you will see a three-dot icon in the top right. To tap on it.

Step 3. Select 'Delete Call Log'. If you do not get this option then you go to Settings and then to Calls and then to Call Log. From here you can delete the call log.

Step 4. Select "Delete Call Log". If you don't find the option, you can also go to Settings, then Calls and from there Call Log and then choose to delete the call log from there.

Step 5. Apart from this, through Factory Data Reset, you can delete all the files and settings in the system as well as delete call logs, including dialed calls, received calls and missed calls. This is the last option and you should back up the data on the Android smartphone before doing the factory reset.
